Why can't my RDA2 card reader be recognized by my iPhone/iPad?

Category : Setup / Operation

If your iOS version is iOS11.0.x or iOS11.1.x, after you "reset" your iPhone/iPad, it may not be able to identify all the peripheral devices on the lightning side, such as Transcend's RDA2 card reader.

Please update your iOS versions to iOS11.2 or later to solve this problem.

In addition, due to the adjustments made to the maximum power supply of external storage devices in iOS11 or later versions, there may be compatibility issues in a few large capacity high-speed memory cards. Should you encounter this situation, it is recommended to use a low-capacity (32G/64G) memory card instead.
